China E-Power

One of the largest and most influential trade shows in the electric power industry, E-Power covers all aspects of the power industry chain, including power transmission and distribution, smart grid, power equipment and generating sets, and electrical accessories.

In 2016, China’s National Energy Administration Bureau unveiled a national strategic development plan for smart grid usage for the next five years. The plan outlines how the country intends to build a safe and reliable smart grid system that is also efficient and environmentally friendly. Its goal is to form a competitive smart grid system to fulfill growing demands as well as to encourage the development of emerging industries.

According to the state grid development plan, China’s electricity consumption will maintain a growth rate of 7.2% and above between 2011 and 2020. It is estimated that by 2020, the total electricity consumption will amount to 8.4 trillion kWh.

Against this positive backdrop, E-Power aims to bridge the gap between high local demand and quality global products.
